It will be red if you are not connected, green if you are connected, and circle arrows if it’s thinking. Click that and a window pops up. Notice how it says “connected to 1 node” — perfect.

I accidentally moved some money into a wallet I erased. I thought I had the seed but I guess not. I erased the wallets from within electrum. I would imagine they are still on my hard drive somewhere. If I can find them Im guessing I can just put them in the wallet folder and see where the coin is.

My impression is that my bitcoin client (the one managing the wallet to which the address is associated) must be running and connected to the internet in order for this transfer to be executed. I say this because, since a wallet has real money , the bitcoins (those unique bitcoins that have been transferred) must arrive to the wallet somehow.
